About six years ago I was in Ibiza for the first time and absolutely fell in love with that island. Not because of the clubs and parties but because of the beaches! I am also a big fan of the hippie style and could spend hours on those hippy markets. So when my husband and I started to plan our vacation I had to persuade him to fly to Ibiza. I showed him pictures of my last Ibiza trip and told him how beautiful the island is. Since hubby also loves the sun we then booked our vacation.
I was very excited about Ibiza because it was our baby’s vacation. But we got lucky because she got used to the new environment very quick.
Vacation is is now a few days ago and I revel in beautiful memories. Today I want to show with this post some pictures and have a few holiday tips for you.
Cala Tarida and Cala Bassa are in my opinion the two most beautiful beaches in Ibiza.
The hippy market in Las Dalias is absolutely worth seeing. They sell beautiful hippie clothes, colorful bags, jewelry and paintings. The selection is huge – If I would have been alone, I would have definitely stayed longer.
Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is definitely worth a visit. We were there in the evening and strolled through the picturesque alleys. There are very nice shops and many bars and restaurants.
Cala d’en Serra is a small, remote bay, which can be reached only by car. The bay with about 75-meter-long beach is ideal for snorkeling.
I can recommend anyone to hire a car for the island. Their rental cars are relatively affordable. On the serpentinen are lots of corners where you can stop and get to see beautiful views.
Formentera hat wunderschöne, paradiesische Strände. Meine zwei Favoriten sind Platja de Mitjorn und Platja de des Illetes.
Formentera has beautiful, heavelny beaches. My two favorites are Platja de Mitjorn and Platja de ses Illetes.
For those of you who want to eat well on Formentera, I can highly recommend the Gecko Beach Club. The food is great and the atmosphere was fantastic. The hotel with a pool is directly located on Platja de Mitjorn.
Our roof terrace overlooking the beach was a dream! Since traveling with a baby is not so flexible, we were very happy to live in an apartment with a roof terrace. In the evenings my husband and I enjoyed cocktails with a baby monitor while our baby was sleeping.
Ibiza is beautiful and I was definitely not the last my last vacation over there! How do like my travel diary of Ibiza? Ready to exlore this island as well or have you also been there before?
