After we have spent another few hours decorating the nursery, we now have an update for you today.
I wanted to keep the room in subtle colors, not too colorful, but also not too boring so I chose white furniture and combined them with neutral colors.
First, I wasn’t sure how to style this white wall but then I saw these golden wall decals and thought they are perfect for our nursery. So here is the result. I think this looks so cute and I hope our baby will love it as well. ;o)
The highlight of the room is the baby canopy, which we have seen at Bedsupply.de. It’s so easy to hang and it gives the room a little romantic touch.
The bed is by Babyone and the bed skirt by Ikea. Since our bedroom is not too big, we decided to buy another small bed and choose one by Babybay.
The changing table is a combination of a Malm dresser by Ikea and a changing set by New Swedish Design. We really like this idea because it allows us to use the Malm dresser after the diaper phase as well. The changing pad is by Prolana.
I created a mobile for our baby girl which we attached under the canopy.
How do you like our new canopy and the dreamy baby mobile? It took me a few hours to made the mobile but I’m very happy with the result.
